CREAM PUFFS

 Makes 24 cream puffs

This is an easy and impressive dessert. Pile them on top of a platter and give your friends and family a treat!

This recipe will be easy to prepare at home or in the classroom. 

 

Ingredients: 

1 cup unbleached flour 

1 cup water 

½ cup unsalted butter 

½ teaspoon salt 

4 eggs 

Equipment: 

medium saucepan 

wooden spoon 

teaspoon 

cookie sheet 

cooking spray 

What to do: 

1.         Preheat oven to 350º.

2.        Boil water, butter, and salt in saucepan.

3.        Add flour and stir vigorously with wooden spoon.

4.        Take off stove and cool.

5.        Add eggs one at a time, stirring quickly.

6.        Spray cookie sheet.

7.        Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet.

8.        Bake at 350º for 35-40 minutes.

9.        Can slit open cooled cream puffs and fill with whipped cream. Spread your favorite chocolate frosting over the tops or sprinkle them with powdered sugar.
